CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AYALA FAMILY!!!! Ayala API Score is 803 and we are now in the 800 Club!!! The 2010 API Goal is 825. To achieve this goal every student needs to focus and move up one level of proficiency!!!!!

CIF Info:

AHS placed second in Sierra League, thus qualifying for CIF playoffs.

First CIF game is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Yes, that is Veteran’s Day and there are no classes held that day.

Pairing will be posted on CIFSS.org at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 8^th. Site will also be determined at that time. If AHS loses – the season is over. If AHS wins the boys will play quarterfinals on Friday, November 13^th. (SemiFinals are Weds, 11/18 and Finals are 11/21) AHS is currently ranked 8^th is DIII and it is likely we will play Temescal Canyon again (according to the 11/2 poll). ALL THIS INFO IS TENTATIVE. CONFIRMATION WILL BE POSTED AFTER 11:00 A.M. ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8^TH.

Season Ending Notes

We're approaching the home stretch for the 2009 Ayala High School Boys' Water Polo season. Just two more league games and one team dinner next week....then CIF. Who knows how long CIF will last? It's up to our boys!

A few important notes:

Banquet reservation flyers will go home with the boys on Monday, 11/2. Boys are already paid, but parents and friends are invited to the festivitie as well. The event is Wednesday, December 2, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Non-athletes dinners $30-35.

Shutterbugs please copy and turn in cds of photos to Coach Paul or to Keaton James. They may become part of the decor or the video on Banquet night. ASAP, please.

Seniors’ parents, please turn in your 10-15 photos (paper or digitized) ASAP, also. The video takes TIME to produce. Boys without photos by 11/13 may not be in the video.
